Having been given a blog I suppose I’d better write something. Don’t expect to hear much about my personal life, or what I’ve had for tea. Subversion, dissent, politics and occasionally something to do with writing DIY books will occur here. Don’t believe me? Let’s start with the news then…. What do you make of the BP business, it’s a flamin huge environmental disaster but as a farmer I need oil to keep my wheels turning. It’s true irony that the US is the biggest oil guzzling economy on the planet and yet they now want a moratorium on offshore drilling whilst still driving humongous cars. Get real. As reserves dwindle and the world is forced into deeper water looking for black stuff, the risk of having another calamity goes up. Everybody drive a smaller car please; I’m sorry for the fishermen who’s income’s at stake. If you’ve got any excess lights on in your house, turn them off now please.
